The Rules, Guidelines & QUALIFICATIONS 
 

             TEAM COOKOFF RULES & GUILDELINES

A team may be one person or up to three team members. All team members must be at least 18 years old. Each team may cook one entry for judging. The entry must include a vegan dish with no diary products, no sugar, no artificial sweetners, no can goods and must be originally prepared by contestant(s). All supplies and ingredients must be furnished by the participants. The recipe dish for judging must be forwarded to Vegantopchefcookoff.com or given at time of registration or prior to event. Recipes will be reviewed to ensure they meet the necessary criteria. It is all team members understanding that by participants in this cook-off, you give consent to Vegan Top Chef Cook-off to include your recipe in their Vegan Top Chef Cookbook with Team Name given as contributing contestants. Each team can prepare their dish in advance to display at Cook-off.

                                  Awards

No Monetary prizes will be awarded for first place winners. however first place winners will receive a trophy.

​

All Team participants will receive a certificate of participation. Each team member shall indemnify, defend and hold VTCCO and their respective officers owners, directors, employees, agents and affiliates host or sponsor harmless from and against any and all suits, claims, liabilities, judgements, expenses (including attorneys fees and court costs, damages or losses, arising from the preparation, storage or dispensing of beverages and/or food products under the permit or at this event.

All team is responsible for bringing their own 6X6 or 8X8 table to display their dish. Food display for judging will be provided by each team. Check in time is between 1:30-2:30 PM on Saturday, September 4, 2021. Spaces will be assigned on first come first served basis.

Face Masks required at all times. Absolutely, no talking over food.  Make sure food remain covered until time to serve the judges.

​

There will be three judges for this event. Each judge must be presented with a separate individual serving of your dish to efficiently taste and rate.

​

Setup and display of dish must be ready to present to the judges' table when your team is called. All team members must comply with all laws, rules and regulation applicable by VTCCO.

 VENDOR GUIDELINES: 
All Food Vendors and Others must comply with all laws, rules and regulations applicable to this Cook-Off.  Food vendors are required to be in compliance with DHEC Laws, rules and regulations.  Food vendors must have possess a SC DHEC approved certificate, and have General Liability Coverages. 

All Vendors must  register no later 10:00 AM  Sep. 4, 2021. Registration can be completed at www..topvegancookoff.com.  All registration fees must be paid on or before Event Sep. 4, 2021.
